This internship aims to equip interns with the necessary skills and knowledge to build a successful career in HR within the construction industry and public sector.As an HR Intern, you will support the HR department in a variety of tasks that involve managing and developing the organization’s human capital. This includes assisting with recruitment processes, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Recruitment and Selection: Supporting the recruitment process by helping with job postings, screening CVs, and arranging interviews
• Employee Onboarding: Assisting in the orientation and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are properly introduced to CIDB's policies and procedures
• HR Administration: Helping with updating and maintaining employee records, managing HR documents, and assisting with payroll administration
• Performance Management Support: Assisting with the tracking of employee performance evaluations and supporting the performance management system
• Training and Development: Supporting the coordination of training programs, tracking training attendance, and assisting in the compilation of training materials

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
